   1st MEETING IN ARCHITECTURE

Alcalá University, Madrid.
F
rom June 30th to July 4th, 1997.

20 women architects were invited to this first Summer Course. The invited architects were selected among all who answered our offer, which was opened at a national level. We got to know them through their works, and so we asked them to present their projects in a public way.

The acts were set up as a journey through different fields in which architecture shows up: from the house intimity to the  past meticulous analysis, the new urban proposals, the  meetings with nature & with other ways of living, the apprentizeship, health, arts, etc. All of them fields in which women are professionally present and have so much to say.

These acts were completed with Poster Sessions, in which students presented  their projects that were discussed by all.
