Maria Auxiliadora Galvez. Housings in Córdoba. 1º prize EUROPAN

This spring act in IFEMA-Madrid Fair, in which Women Who Build Society was presented in public, was a continuation of the meetings that took place at Alcalá University during the last years, created as a meeting point among architects and architecture students with promoters and constructors. The aim was to find a better balance between the economic values and the ecological values demanded in  the world in which we are living.

NATURAL STONE, as the material that keeps human memory during its life on Earth, was the  background for this act, conceived as a place to think in architecture understood as an idea to be built, and about the role of women in this task, with the purpose of stimulating  new ways of thinking architecture serving society.
