3rd ENCOUNTER IN ARCHITECTURE

Alcalá University, Madrid.
May 7th to the 9th, 1999.

The 3rd Encounter in Architecture took place the third consecutive year, at Alcalá University. The concept was conceived as a journey to spread and support our alternative approaches to architecture.

At the end of the twentieth century, as female entities, we chose to reflect on architecture understood as an imaginary place built from life´s interior, which helps to build a solidary world, situated in its respect for our surronding environment and conceived as an integral component in our human development.

Cooperation, Enviroment and City were the topics for this encounter, instructed by professional architects and urban planners.

During the celebration of this 3rd Encounter, the Exhibition "Building From the Inside" was opened for the first time within the historical Cloisters of Alcala University.
