   THE AIMS

-TO CREATE a space to be used as a meeting place for women architects and for women related with the design and the construction of spaces all over the world. An open space to debate, to criticism and to self-criticism; a collective and solidary, respectful and tolerant space, in which, far from individualism and competitiveness, thought is possible.

-TO ANALYSE what our attitudes and contributions to the world of architecture are, assuming our model as a manner of integration. We believe that difference does not mean inequality.

-TO SUPPORT solidarily, women architects and all our profession, whose function is, on many occasions, socially misunderstood, hoping that this support may be used as a stimulation and an acknowledgement for so much responsibly carried out work.

-TO RESEARCH our approaches to architecture, both in our reality and in the realities other than ours, although not so distant, in which architects can contribute with valuable solutions and new points of view.

-TO PARTICIPATE in the presence of consultive International and National organisms, in which the demand of women architects and urban planners increases day by day.

-TO BUILD a web page in Internet, where all women architects may display their projects, their works and  their thoughts about architecture, and may be informed about the activities of WOMEN WHO BUILD forum, and others of interest.

- TO PROMOTE the research work, practical or theorical, with the aim of creating our own thought course about the design of built spaces, and IMPULSE, therefore, the organization of architecture competitions and projects where women architects may participate.

-TO TRANSMIT, finally, our professional experience to young architects and to architecture students.
