To offer an open space for debate, constructive criticism and self-criticism; a collective and solidary, respectful and tolerant space, that stems away from individualism and competitiveness and where thought is possible..
TO ANALYSE how our attitudes and contributions to the world of architecture are, by adopting our model as a means of integration, as we believe diversity does not mean inequality.
TO SUPPORT women architects and all women professionals, whose function is, on many occasions, socially misunderstood, hoping that this support may stimulate and help to acknowledge their commitment to their work and provide them a base for new assignments and work.
TO RESEARCH our approaches to architecture, both in our social identity and location as well as in others, in which architects can contribute with valuable solutions and new points of view.
TO PARTICIPATE in the presence of National and International Organizations, in which the demand of women architects and urban planners is increasing day by day.
TO BUILD a website, where all women architects may display their projects, their work and their thoughts on architecture, and may become better informed about the interests of WOMEN WHO BUILD and all other members involved.
TO PROMOTE research work, practical or theorerical, with the objective of developing our own courses and projects on the design of built spaces, and to ENCOURAGE, the organization of architecture competitions and projects where women can participate.
TO TRANSMIT, our knowledge and professional experience to up in coming architects and architecture students.
