This
spring workshop in IFEMA-Madrid Fair, publically presented by the Women Who
Build Society, served as a continuation to the encounters that had taken
place the previous years at Alcalá University and also as an opportunity for
architects, architecture students, promoters and constructors to meet. The
purpose, to find a better balance between the economical, ecological and social
values that our world has demanded.
NATURAL
STONE, the material that collects the footprints the human being left during its
life on Earth; this was the background component for this workshop, with the
purpose to reflect on the understanding of
architecture as
a built idea, the role of women in this task with the intention to stimulate new
ways of concieving projects that could service society.
